Just left Los Lupes. I'm from CA & have been searching for a good mexican restaurant here in Las Vegas and I just found it.
The chips were freshly made. The salsa was good & they offer more salsa, jalapeños, carrots etc...at their salsa bar.
I had the Cheese Enchilada & Shredded Beef Taco. The tortilla had a nice crisp to it & the beef was flavorful & plenty of it. I really enjoyed the Cheese Enchilada & the Rice & Beans were very good also.
The service was great & Los Lupes will be on our dining out rotation. -

I was excited to try their menudo when I saw them on yelp. You need some good soup while you are in Vegas. So I ordered Tamale and Menudo.
I know it's sad to say this but I was disappointed.
The menudo broth was lack of flavor.
And I am not sure what it was maybe bone or toenails. It was hard shiny piece on huge chunk of tendon. I am not sure what that was. I don't usually disgusted by bone or organ. But that looked really bad and disgusting. I lost my appetite after I saw that. And move on to Tamale! It was 100% frozen or old. Hard and dry. Not soft at all.
I will probably wouldn't order any of those again. -

Stopped in here during a recent visit to Vegas and very happy I did. This place is easy to miss tucked into a small strip shopping center, but definitely worth the effort to find. I order a 2 item combo with 2 beef enchiladas.
The server was extremely attentive and friendly. The food was properly prepared and portioned. Overall I had a very good experience here and will likely return on a future trip to Vegas. -

The short of this review is: the food is mediocre (Roberto's is comparable, maybe even preferred), the environment is so-so, and the service needs work.
We ordered chips and guacamole for an appetizer and I had the Taco/ Tamale combo with rice and beans. My meal was ok! But that's about the best of it. The guacamole supposedly has sour cream on it (according to the menu description)- this came without it so I had to ask about it and the chef said "it does NOT come with sour cream but I can give you a side". No harm no foul, but give me what your menu says.
The drinks we ordered came entirely too late- in fact the entrees came first. Btw, it was a bottled drink and horchata. We had to remind our waitress when the food came.
There is an adorable salsa station. It's a cute idea but I'm not a fan bc of sanitary reasons and just the possible messiness of the concept (But i must say, this cart was pretty neat)
Last but not least, there were only 2 other tables during our entire meal. If the restaurant were busier, I'd given it a pass. -

Leaving be Mexican good. There are so many places in Las Vegas, I bet I could eat everyday for a month and not eat at same place!
This small, quiet place has a good menu, offers a salsa bar and has a large bar. It was a tad under stocked, a lot of empty containers.
We started with an appetizer-chili con queso, this was a white cheese, onions, tomatoes and peppers. Served in a big bowl but seemed like they reheated in microwave. It had separated a little, still good but began to set as it cooled down making it a bit hard to eat as a dip.
My husband tried the sampler-Taco, enchilada, taquito, guacamole and sour cream. It was good the taquito was crunchy but lacked a golden color. I had the shredded pork enchilada with rice and beans. It was good as well.
Overall good food, service was good. Restaurant was clean but just a bit bland. It will stay on list but towards the after thought section!
